About the Ceardlann Earraigh Master Workshops:
Ceardlann Earraigh Workshops take place over the couse of half a day. We feel that this is a great format for both seasoned Workshop goers and first time participants at workshops.
For those who have decided to attend a workshop for the first time Ceardlann Earraigh is a great way to experience workshops with a Master Tutor. It gives an idea of what to a week long workshop course like Tubbercurry, Willie Clancy or one of our favourites the Joe Mooney Summer School would be like.
For the experienced workshop goer, Ceardlann Earraigh will give you an opportunity learn some new tunes, techniques and theory before the Fleadh and Summer School & Session season kicks off!
The Ceardlann Earraigh Workshop day looks like this:
|24th March 2018||Scoil na Mainistreach, Oldtown Road, Celbridge.|
|10.45a.m.-11.30a.m.||Registration and Grading|
|1.00p.m. - 3.00p.m.||Instrument Expo|
Ceardlann Earraigh Instrument Expo:
This year we will hold an Instrument Makers Expo during the Workshops, this will give the attendees and parents/guardians an opportunity to watch and discuss the making/repair of a variety of instruments which will also include reed making for Uilleann Pipes.
